This app relays your SMS from your default messaging app to a desktop, allowing you to SMS on your computer. The companion Chrome App "LAN SMS" is required for this to function.
This app is NOT an SMS app itself, it only hooks in to your phone to relay messages.
You don't need another account, or change your phone number, or sign up for other services as this app only relays your text messages over your wireless/bluetooth, so everything stays nice and local.
This enhances your desktop experience by extending your phone's text messaging capabilities on to your computer.
You will need to use your phone's wireless to connect to the same local area network that your computer is on. For bluetooth, your devices must already be paired for them to directly connect to each other. LAN SMS will NOT work using your mobile data plan, and is not recommended for use on public networks.
This Android App is the controller for the service we install on your phone that hooks in to your text messages, giving you some manual control as to when the relaying can happen. It will also let you know what device is paired to your phone, its address, what wifi network you're using, and other information.
